Dos Mares has a voluntary support group made up of Members of Ambassadors of the Sea and people related to the management of marine protected areas in Central America, the United States and Mexico. Its administrative structure is currently horizontal. The Director of Dos Mares conceptualizes the organization, promotes advertising campaigns, seeks legal incorporation and financial support, and guides his support group in each Central American country to promote the creation of VALUE in marine protected areas, formulate ideas of projects and shape the operation of Dos Mares on the ground. The organizational structure of Dos Mares is strictly subject to the principles of voluntary collaboration, transparency and social awareness. It is intended that this structure be financially supported by the projects that are implemented. There are people who could represent the organization locally, for which Terms of Reference are prepared that define the tasks and responsibilities of this representation. Dos Mares offers technical services for the creation of VALUE in the protected areas for the nearby inhabitants, and intends to evolve into an organization that channels and disburse funds to local entities that decide to create VALUE in the marine protected areas of Central America.
